CohousingMN is a non-profit charitable organization with an educational mission to conduct education, outreach and engagement in order to advance the development of high-quality, sustainable cohousing communities in Minnesota. Our vision is a future where cohousing communities thrive as collaborative and sustainable neighborhoods throughout Minnesota. Our work is to to catalyze the development of new cohousing communities by sharing the cohousing model throughout our service area. We seek “burning souls” who sustain the vision and coordinate the work of creating new cohousing communities that provide private homes with social spaces within a cooperative culture that nurtures connection, participation, and belonging.
Networking with cohousing groups in our service area helps newer groups learn from more experienced cohousing groups. We offer a wide variety of cohousing resources to donors in our service area and who meet our criteria.

Our Officers and Volunteers
